Ben is a London-based doctor and Founder & CEO of Cera, Europe’s largest and the UK’s Number 1 ranked HealthTech. Under Ben’s leadership, Cera is revolutionising healthcare, using technology & AI to shift care from hospitals to patients’ homes — creating a more sustainable model for an ageing population.
Cera delivers 2.5 million home visits per month, greater in volume than all visits to NHS A&Es nationwide, with c. $500 million in annualised revenues. Cera’s pioneering technology has reduced patient falls by 20% and hospitalisations by up to 70% – transforming patient lifespan & healthspan, and saving the UK Government over £1 billion to date.
Previously, Ben advised the CEO of NHS England on technology and co-founded the NHS Innovation Accelerator. He is a Senior Advisor to Bain & Company, & has advised a range of organisations, from startups to multilaterals, including the Swiss Government, and the WHO. He served as Chair of the UK Medical Students’ Association (UKMSA) for a decade, has authored three medical books, and published over 100 peer-reviewed articles.
Ben was educated at Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard Universities. He has received over 100 awards, including an MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours (2020), Great British Entrepreneur of the Year (Overall Winner, 2023), & EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year UK (Overall Winner, 2024).
